What Information Do You Collect Through Your Website?
- I collect a user’s name and their email address when they choose to connect with me through my contact form.
- I also collect information about how visitors interact with my website, including what pages are viewed, the type of device that is used to access my website, the geographic location of users, and the amount of time spent on my web pages.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on a user’s computer, and that the user’s browser provides to the website each time the user returns. Cookies provide user information to the website owner as well as website customization to the user based on their previous activity with the website.
My website uses the Site Stats feature of the Jetpack Plugin to collect information about how users interact with my website including which pages are visited most, as well as other analytical data. When a visitor uses my website, a tracking code collects user data using a browser cookie that is placed on the user’s computer. The plugin tracks website and web page usage and does not identify individual user information.
What Do You Do with the Information You Collect?
I use the Jetpack Plugin to monitor website performance and to improve user experience only. I do not engage in targeted remarketing or advertising campaigns or use any Autommatic (Jetpack Plugin’s owner) add-on advertising features.
Personally identifiable information submitted through my contact form is used to respond to requests for further information only. I will not sell, trade, rent, or distribute contact information to any third parties or use this information for promotional or marketing purposes.
